Anyone has any idea what is the impact of the following news to FTEL?

from "http://www.cnn.com/TECH/9801/20/internet.speed.ap/index.html"

"Executives at Intel, Compaq Computer and Microsoft said in The New York Times on Tuesday that they want to develop a new type of personal computer modem that would allow access to World Wide Web pages at speeds 30 times faster than the usual several seconds to minutes it now takes.

Perhaps more important, the product would plug into normal telephone lines, which would remain connected to the outside world. Consequently, users would not need to dial a service and could conduct normal voice conversations over the same line, the Times said."

Tommy Boy is Back! Well Alright! The stock will have a big uptick tomorrow and I thought the PR firm was good news, this is the best we can get. Hey Tom, any more legal disclaimers from the S1, that's been approved or is it taking you months to find this information like the last time? Come on now don't let us down.

And I thought I could stay a lurker, HAH! Oh Tommy is here and it's time to have some fun!

Tom, I find your comments (and those of VALUESPEC) to be
insightful. Some of us, at least, are grateful for your time spent and clear explanations. You reflect what this individual has noted
and wondered about.

I don't want anyone to lose anything on their investments. Including me.

Yes, the next few months will be interesting.

Daine

Thomas !!

"You and many others here trash anyone with a counter view of Ftel. Your entire response to Valuespec, answers absolutely none of his concerns."

It is not MY or Anyone else's "JOB" to answer his concerns. If he is that concerned he knows where to go and who to ask for his answers. To keep asking them here when he is told over and over again where the information is, is getting on everyones nerves. It reminds me of a little kid who asks for a cookie and when he is told NO, then he asks "why" eight million times.

Sorry, but I can understand everyones comments even if you can't !!
