Lesson # 46: thanks...a quickie....second question first:
my "PSYCLE sm", in it's simplest, incomplete form, has 7 sequential stages, through which 95 % of all individual stocks traverse over time, such that at any given time, different issues/groups are in one of those 7 stages....and can be (is also) viewed from a S.T. and L.T. perspective....and works with individual issues, ind. groups, long and short, interest rates, commodities, sports teams, and most all human and financial endeavors....most people misread or have no patience or miss many tenets, partly because some of it is still "PSY-chological feel" gleaned after many years experience....and it actually upsets some people, which is a real positive, if you get my drift....
anyway, FYI, stage 4 is the whole topping phase, stage 5 is the initial decline thereafter that breaks the previous parabolic rise, and stage 6, is the decline that breaks the initial decline's support. hope this helps....each stage is also accompanied by special combo, of chart, volume, sentiment, financials, media, opinions, etc.,
first question: again, everything is based on one's perspective...
short-term can mean different periods, to different people, at different times....anyway, after a normal pop, at some point, some of the Energy Service stocks (and Energy's in general) are still likely to form lower tops, or double-tops, and fall again....if the stage 5 or 6 rally is stronger, then double-tops possible ?, if rally is stopped at their now-falling 200 day moving averages (study my early "Lessons" !!!) would be worse ? ....we'll just have to wait and see...
wish I had a crystal ball, but, at this point, stocks that rise from 3.00 to 35.00, then break, rarely have another 1,000 % rise thereafter
from their stage 5 or 6 correction lows....
I monitor very closely...sitting near computer screen with real-time quotes, charts, etc., but NO emotion....I realize I will not be perfect, and will have losses along the way....just must stay with it, through thick and thin....and, have had major requests to est. a Long-side thread on S.I., which I appreciate, but until I have the means to reach a much larger audience of nice people like you, what I do share has been/is pretty valuable anyway, for free, and, yes, I do plan on a book or course of some kind....but do not know when....which hope will be soon, but not that soon....there are so many lousy-yet-famous guys around, and people still listen to and actually publicize them....amazing....and frustrating for us all....
