It sure is! In so many ways, the West is reaping the whirlwind from all of our wars. We bombed the shit out of the Middle East and created a bunch of refugees and now those refugees are fleeing north and destroying the culture and safety nets of the north. Cause and effect. For many years, I've been an advocate of the US getting the hell out of the Middle East and staying out. We have no business there. We have no strategic interests there. Some say oil, but we are oil independent. We do NOT need to bow down before Saudi Arabia, yet we do. As far as I'm concerned, we should stay out of there, stop spending trillions on war over there, and let it go back to being a sandy pit. We have our own problems to deal with right here at home.
