You're right about the strong bull run being over, however, that strong bull market has been for the last 3-4 years. With an annual return of 37% for the last 10 years, there's no reason why it shouldn't continue. I'm talking long term now. If it underpeforms this year, it "should" outperform next year. These companies, such as IBM, CPQ, INTC, MSFT, ORCL, etc.etc. can be considered "safe techs", if there's such a thing. To try and predict what CPQ will be in a month could be difficult, but to try and predict where CPQ will be in 2 years is much easier.

just to clarfiy, i do not think CPQ is going down (crashing) and this bull mkt has rejunavated itself with today's great rally above crucial 50 ma..

for CPQ, my post was basically stating that CPQ's lack of movement was atrricbuted to the 50 ma that CPQ is under.. however, assuming great earnings, then CPQ will rally - breaking above the 50 ma..
