the company is going to head toward bankruptcy because the NAND industry isn't even close to the end of price declines

The price of NAND has declined by more than 99% over the past 25 years, and the industry continues to do quite well, thank you.

the disk drive segment is going to vanish

Tell this to Apple and other data centers, who continue to buy hard drives hand over fist.

"If WDC's revenues are going to decline for the nexy 6-7 quarters in a row, EPS is going to turn negative, and the company is going to head toward bankruptcy because the NAND industry isn't even close to the end of price declines, and the disk drive segment is going to vanish more and more as NAND prices decline, and blood is really going to be running in the streets this time next year, why would today's price be "the bottom"?

Why why why would today's price, a good $15 above the Q4 2018 low price, be the bottom? The bottom may be single digits, or more likely, zero......"

Right. And, the world is going to end in 12 years. You forgot about that.

"this essentially prices the stock at the bottom and any bad news coming out of the ER on Monday is probably priced in now.

Why do you say this?

If WDC's revenues are going to decline for the nexy 6-7 quarters in a row, EPS is going to turn negative, and the company is going to head toward bankruptcy because the NAND industry isn't even close to the end of price declines, and the disk drive segment is going to vanish more and more as NAND prices decline, and blood is really going to be running in the streets this time next year, why would today's price be "the bottom"?
