As the article points out, Made in China is a warning label on food. Sanitarium had been using Made in China peanuts and had to stop even though they said they checked for aflatoxins. That's because mistrust is so high. While there are crooks elsewhere, big USA brands fear lawsuits. Japan has a culture of quality. China has a dog eat dog and human eat dog culture.
