Charlie,

I sell covered calls against my XLNX holdings to make extra dollars on a volatile stock. Today's runup almost triggered my limit order for March 40's. I am not sure whether XLNX will gapped up tommorrow before settling in to its 33/34-40 trading range.

Scott,

Did you not already know, by the pre-announcement, that XLNX was going to have a relatively flat quarter? These earnings were 2 pennies better than expected and, yes, the stock could very well rally friom here!

This sector has been beaten down, and this earnings report reaffirms that the dreaded Asian contagion is not as severe as once thought.
After good reports from most today, the whole tech sector will rally tomorrow. Of course, if CPQ downsides, LOOKOUT BELOW!.

Good Luck,
Joe
