NationsBanc Growth Stocks Strategist Likes Year 2000
Cos.

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Michael Moe, of NationsBanc Montgomery
Securities Inc., said he expects impressive earnings increases from some of
America's fastest-growing companies in 1998, despite shaky worldwide
markets.

Moe, growth-stocks strategist for NationsBanc, also named sectors he finds
particularly attractive.

He said in an interview on CNBC Monday that Year 2000 companies will
do well as corporations spend millions to solve computer problems at the
turn of the century. He also thinks some Year 2000 companies, including
Peoplesoft Inc. (PSFT), Oracle Corp. (ORCL) and Pegasystems Inc.
(PEGA), have good prospects for growth after the computer problems are
solved.

Moe also said he thinks Internet-commerce companies will grow quickly as
the number of Internet users increases by 25% in the next two years.

He cited E*Trade Group Inc. (EGRP), Onsale Inc. (ONSL) and Cendant
Corp. (CD) as attractive buys in the sector.
