Re trading info

I have a satellite data feed into my home/office. It feeds a stream of real time data into my computer. I use "Trade Station" by Omega Research to collect and present the data. It's way cool!

I have a dedicated computer and monitor set up for the trade station next to my regular work station so I can keep an eye on things. Sometime's it's hard to do my "real job" when the trading is heavy.

You too, can own a window to the soul of wall street for about $5000. (dish, receivier, and software).

Just make sure your wife is not the jealous type.

Les

Now that the fallout is settling from the nuclear strike IOMEGA launched against it's share holders yesterday... I thought I'd put my .02 in. (I've done this a few times so I guess I'm up to .08 by now)

I am a fairly new investor in the stock market and this is the hardest I've ever been rocked... I am still licking my wounds and trying to make some sense of this "disaster"... Here's what I've come up with:

- My faith in IOMEGA management is much lower than two days ago. In the past I always sort of respected IOMEGA's laid back, close to the vest, to hell with Wall St., "style" but they are going too far IMO and letting shares holders suffer as the consequence...

- My belief in IOMEGA's business plan is not as solid as it was two days ago... I now DO have doubts about CLIK! First of all that it will be even close to "on time"... i.e. 2nd half of '98 or that it will (at least initially) be of the highest quality or that any of the hewavyweights that "endorsed" the product will acutally "buy" it... I now believe that it will be a much longer road to success for this product...

- The stock market is not a game... It is for big boys and girls... I, like probably millions of others I began investing in 1995 and it has all pretty much been a "party" up until these last 3 mo.s or so...

- Don't beleive everything you read on intenet threads... :)))

Conclusions:

- If you look at the numbers it really was a good Q4...
- I think the long term outlook for IOMEGA is great...
- I am a long term investor...
- I did not and will not sell any of my shares in this company...
- This will all be a great "war story" to tell in a few yr.s

Down but not out...

Ciao..
