Longnshort, evil exists but who creates evil, men or some make believe entity. At least you believe in the existence of good and evil, even if you don't believe in the existence of God or the devil. By the way, it's not about abdicating personal responsibility, unlike what Bentway argues. No one who truly believes in God and Satan will argue that "the devil made me do it," unless that person is insane. Instead, it recognizes that there are higher powers at work in the universe.
