DOW JONES Brief:

Osicom Tech Up Another 10%; Pdt Enthusiasm Continues

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Osicom Technologies Inc. (FIBR) shares added another
10%, likely on continued enthusiasm surrounding its NET+ARM networking chip.
NET+ARM combines hardware and software subsystems on a single chip that allows
printers and other noncomputer equipment to link up to networks like the Internet.
NET+ARM was released earlier this month.
Joe Gladue, who covers the stock for Chapman Co., said there was no specific news
pushing the stock higher. Instead, he said factors that have helped the stock higher
recently remain in focus. Namely, the stock's low valuation relative to its peers, and a
handful of new products that could add to top-line growth.
Officials at the Santa Monica, Calif., concern weren't immediately available.
Shares of Osicom were recently up 9/16 at 5 11/32 on Nasdaq volume of 1.8 million
shares, compared with average daily turnover of 482,300.
