What we need is freedom... including freedom in markets... Capitalism is a canard... No difference between communists (socialists, democrats) and kings (aristocrats, oligarchs, capitalists)... other than who gets to be king. The reason capitalism works "better"... is that it in minor degree incorporates freedom as intent in terms of the "freedom of capital"... to do as it will without interference... But, it fails badly, still... most directly in the degree that "free capital" can easily decide its best return is available from becoming the financial backers of communists... making it, in fact, the same thing. The error I point out... is that both (communism and capitalism) fail in being materialistic... whereas freedom, free markets... are the opposite... they aren't materialistic... and because of that succeed more in financial terms... because freedom is a greater good than that narrowly defined in application to some, only. Capitalism and Communism are both monopolistic... not seeking to maximize freedom and choice... but to limit others in competing with them for power... or money... or both.
