Barr is no toadie... and he's certainly not Trump's toady... The broadest possible political interpretation of that... is that by now even "the deep state" (never monolithic) is being forced into openly recognizing that something has gone badly off the rails... and it's not going to work for them to threaten "letting it run off the rails"... because now they get it, that Trump will take it all down if they do. Trumps' not bluffing.... and it is only they who can't afford to do what they've threatened to do... That Barr joined the Trump Administration... is a proof that formerly "mainstream" Republicans (the Bush camp) have gotten over being shut out of relevance in the last election... they've surrendered... In consequence... you now see a lot of "tag team" in Trump policy... that for later... Some of that "surrender" is a recognition that Trump was and is WAY better than they were... and is more dangerous because more honest... Meaning in that... as only now are mainstream R's figuring out that ? Yes, there is. A lot of misunderstanding happens... when people who should know better believe what the media says... and many will end up believing their own propaganda... which is never good. That "media driven" house of cards is failing right now... getting ready to... As far as Trump... there's a reason he keeps winning... and that has nothing to do with how the media portray him. Better to judge people based on their actions... and the real impact of those actions... rather than only on what they say... less even others what others say... about them ?
