SIMO reported Q1 today. Nothing spectaculr, they did $95m and guided Q2 to about $105m in sales.

However, SIMO says full year 2019 sales should be about the same as full year 2018 sales. That means that Q3 + Q4 needs to equal $330m. If sales jump that much in the second half, SIMO may head back toward $60 like last summer.

Not sure how they can be so confident of H2 growth, but I like it....

thanks for the kind words. I like larger companies now with more of a following. I like Softbank Disney GM Stone ( here im just following the buffet team in ) CZR (following Icahn in .) I think Softbank and Disney are one of a kind companies that are still reasonably cheap to own. Barrons just wrote a blurb on GM whereby GM minus latest valuation of Cruise equates to 4 times earnings for the rest of GM. Yesterday i listened to the half time smart money. they had Cooperman on and he was saying 30 year tbonds should be about 4%. my thinking is long term investors should be much better off owning an inflation protected stock like Disney at 17 times earnings for the next 30 years then government bonds even if the yield does go to 4%. ..Everything should be hitting on all cylinders for Disney for the next couple of years on top of that. They have streaming coming on board, they have HULU. the theme parks are incorporating star wars expansion. they are offering people who stay at their resorts early access to the starwars expansion. They should benefit from sports betting and poltical ads. I invite you guys to rain on my parade. I just added some AMCX after listening to Cooperman.
