I think it is the other way around, Cabot will put it as a buy because of the price increase. I agree with today's motley fool report which stated <<"Carbon fiber company Zoltek Companies (Nasdaq:ZOLT - news) gained $5 1/8 to $34 after it announced last Friday that it "expects five new continuous carbonization lines" completed in 1997 to begin having a "substantial impact" on sales and earnings in the second half of fiscal 1998... >> fool.yahoo.com
IMHO it is this news from last friday and that it has been oversold that we can thank for the recent price increase. At these prices it is a very good value.

Another stock that has turned it around this year is FIBR which closed last year at 2.15625 and is now trading at 5.34375, that's a 148% increase in 13 trading days. IMHO it is just starting its breakout from last years low.

Well, Brian, Mike, Guy, you have good points, but I'll have to agree with aatkinson. Cabot did put Zolt back on the Buy list (supposedly because of "outperforming the market for the past 3 weeks," not for any fundamental news), and the letter seems to have a marked effect, at least in making spikes (up or down) in stocks they follow. Hopefully, this movement will get others on the sidelines interested.
