My Post CC comment for Gary for he deserves some additional insight which I don't normally post otherwise had it not been for his effort.
Nice work, Gary ! Quid pro quo.

1) You ask who the other 10 % cust. in Q497
I am torn between providing info and not going against mgmt wish. Let's settle for this. It 's not ATT which will provide excellent rev for many qtrs to come. Come on, it's not that tough to figure out if you look at previous earning reports and announcement. I guess you would have to work harder to guess it. Enough taunting for now given that everybody is in such a bad mood ! A multiple choice could be PSI, NTT, ... and others

2) GRF is a wild card to me. The relaunching of GRF to support BGP4 and other routing protocols and fix reliability shortcomings to compete again CSCO's GSR 12000 remains to be seen as successful.

3) Mgmt fails to mention an excellent in-development product and rev. producer which is the combo of TNT and GRF as it will reduce the footprint at POPs and central office for space is premium. Ditto TNT & CBX 500 which is another one.

4) With the latest development in INTC-MSFT-CPQ-4 RBOCs-GTE xDSL grand alliance, and LU xDSL chipset. It looks like a xDSL defacto std will emerge soon, which fuels deployment in 1999. DSL TNT and DSL Pipeline hold great potential.
