Problem we have is now everybody' worrying about first Q. 98. Personally I don't see AMAT disapointing in 4th, my guess is they beat the number by a bit 5%. I'm braking even right now his go around but lost some option money for first time (on AMAT) in Dec and Jan. Wondering what to do next. playing the 30's (feb) for the results gives little leverage, the thrirty-fives would be good bet if were not not for the MACRO sit.. This is stream of investor type stuff which is why I'm rambling.... however if AMAT does start to move 55 is really not so far away as 200M shares were bought and sold = or - 10% of this point. SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO my conclusion is that pure gambler should look at feb 35's as reasonable speculative risk. By the way my take on 300mm and all points beyond is that what they don't have they'll buy at these discount prices... gotta get back to work now
