That's one way to go. But if you don't mind waiting around and can actually stop paying attention to such a true investment, it may pay off better than most timing attempts. This worked for me very well with silver. I bought it at 3.50 and held until around $15. I did not pay any attention to small swings for the first two years I held it. It just went up and up and up.
