We are Hot stuff, aren't we?! I checked out the Peeve Page as invited. Eeyep, "nucular" gets my goat every time. M'a'a'a'a'ah. "Realitor" I first heard from my sister when she moved to Atlanta, GA ('Lanna). I suspect it is a regionalism. Another regionalism from my old Maryland home is "groceries" with an "sh" sound, like "grocieries". Huh? As Superchicken replied to Fred: "Do you think we'd be here if we had any supervision?" :-)

Sowbug, Liked your list! May I add to mommixed mispronunciations that make me mysophobic- (I have a new book of obsolete words) "mis-CHEE-vi-ous" for "MIS chie vous... And have we already mentioned "irregardless" for "regardless"?
