Why is it that Obama was interviewed numerous times on conservative networks while Trump has virtually never appeared on anything but conservative networks?

Because the one time Trump appeared with NBC anchor Lester Holt he confessed to obstruction of justice. He told Holt that he fired FBI Director Comey because of the “Trump and Rusher” thing. Firing the man investigating your administration is the definition of obstruction of justice. When he appeared with Chris Matthews on MSNBC, Trump said that he believed women should be criminally prosecuted for having an abortion.

In other words, Trump is a loose cannon who tends to incriminate himself every time he speaks to a real journalist. Even when he appears on friendly outlets like “ Fox and Friends” the hosts know to wrap up the interview when Trump is going off the rails. Trump’s attorneys have probably made it clear that he is not to sit down with any legitimate journalists.
