I suppose "Studies" was not enabled in my Firefox installation (or profile if its a separate thing for each profile), but was in my fresh install.

Right now I don't have a good idea of what this Studies thing is. I'm going to look in to it and decide if I want to disable it (but if so probably after the next version update so my add-ons don't have problems again).

Yeah actually some of the great tab mgmt addons have gone the way of the dodo and FF is not up to snuff.. I may switch to chrome since FF perennially seems t have YouTube issues..
