Sprouts has an intelligent business model, from what I can tell. They have some of the same class and quality appeal that Whole Foods did (does?..I haven't been in one in a long time). They accomplish this in ways that include obvious steps to control costs. The stores are very intensively used...lot of activity going on in a much smaller footprint. Excellent quality produce...tops. Good meat department. Array of other products that appeal to health conscious shoppers but w/o getting into ridiculous and outrageously priced niche items. I notice they are always busy...seem very popular with older people but that may be when I do get there it's often during the day when retired people shop. Also see a lot of younger millennial types in there too. Also notice the help stays the same...ie they seem happy and not changing from job to job.

I like them but they aren't close so I don't shop their often. Far superior experience to Smiths and not even on the same planet as Walmart...which we only use in emergencies for food.

I think your thoughts on their potential as an acquisition or partner are very sound.
