List of Xyplex articles from CMP Net, a review gives a great feel for what Xyplex does & offers.... I'm curious what our new friend & ex-xyplex engineer says about the Parigain joint venture...anything really to that? later

Is it spring yet? Maybe it's time to take the mountain bike out for a ride! Hear the birds & smell the air, ahh ....a near 10% rise in value & the bear begins to rumble, I wonder if the shorts are listening? A few years back, before Xyplex got purchased by a defense contractor looking to 'diversify' out of the missle business, they were one of the hotter sellers in 'the channel'. Xyplex was among the top products resold through an ISP/distributor I am familiar with, & at that time they had a mature sales force in the U.S. After the buyout by Raytheon, much of the sales force 'retired' off the proceeds & the channel as far as I know was left in limbo, never fully regaining the confidense or opportunity to provide the products to its customers. Perhaps MRV will better utilitze reseller relationships to expand & strengthen its own sales force in the U.S. I sure hope MRV did its homework on this one, once again purchasing a 'tarnished gem'.
