Rob,

I've been holding/trading KRY for about a year now and one of things I've come to rely on is news from Carson.

He seems to shoot pretty straight and he apparently looks out for VEN and himself--along the way he has also helped a lot of small investors.

Marc O has been quoted as saying that Roy has at times gotten the scoop even before KRY mgmnt, much to thier consternation. It would seem that he's done it again.

Frank L is right though, the possibility of 'the other company' walking was leaked a number of days ago. Kind of interesting to go from saying "100% sure of winning position in the courts" to walking away with an excuse about "judicial insecurity" and the price of gold. I've heard that the price to mine LC 4&6 is very low and that the reserves represent approximately 25% of 'the other company's' reserves.

Speculation: If they walk now, they can claim that they didn't "lose" LC4&6, which might save them from possible lawsuits being launched by their own shareholders. Carson I think once leaked documents that showed their lawyers made them aware of the fact that they did not have legal title to the rights and that the work contracts were on shaky legal ground--yet the co chose to ignore their own lawyers.

Can't say they don't know how to "spin" this story. Let's see how this thing spins in the market on Wed!
