Ted:bot 500 @ 18 1/2 sold for $4.50 gain per share! The plan is to get back in @ 20 for the next ride to 28! Now i am waiting for infoseek
and cbs to have a couple more good days to unload them for a sweet return (seek- bot 10 march calls, 12.50 strike for 3/4 and are now in the money and worth 1 11/16,and cbs leaps are up 60% - 20 calls)
problem is finding when they report earnings (since not on briefing.coms pages yet they must report in feb.)

I hope others are having a good week!
matt

Nice moves the last two days - now well above the 50dma. Looks very strong.

I'm curious if anyone here happened to be involved with VOCLF from the IPO 2 years ago (Feb 96)?

If you were, you likely received the pre-prospectus "red herring" and you would notice (as I understand from a fund manager associate who WAS involved then, and is very tuned into the emerging data telephony field) that in the legal section, VOCLF was informed by e-Net (NASDAQ: ETEL) of patent infringement.

Apparently, the "less" official "red" stated that VOCLF's "legal counsel" "determined" that VOCLF's technology was NOT in violation of ETEL's patents. But in the same section in the final, official, post-offering *prospectus*, the language is significantly subdued in saying simply that "management" (no longer "legal counsel") is of the "opinion" (no longer "determined") that VOCLF is not infringing on ETEL's patents.

Just curious if anyone here who is a more serious student of the legal/patent issues surrounding data telephony, has looked at ETEL's patents, which ETEL claims they will litigate and enforce if and when there is compelling (read $$$) reason to.

Here is a link to the main ETEL patent (I understand there are a total of 43), which claim the ownership of any audio - including voice - over a packet based network. Perhaps click also on the link to the 40 claims, extended from this one main patent: patent.womplex.ibm.com

Good luck all-

Steve
