I would wait, though there may be an initial pop.. When a solidly profitable Facebook went public in 2012 at $39 per share, the stock still tanked into the lower 20s. Uber is incurring large losses and has no discernible road to profitability. Plus, there is a huge overhang of restricted shares looking for liquidity. There will be a lot of hedging going on and I think that we will quickly see a large short interest position build up. At this point I view it as a very speculative trading vehicle. Just my two cents.

Wait for market to crash then buy. IMHO
