hi seczebra, great post.. i belive it's much easier to look at the Bigger picture when using TA.. it's always easier to spot the big trends up or down it's very hard to predict/forecast day to day movements.. that is why daytrading is "said to be so difficult and many people lose money".. as you look more shorter term, you are trading tick by tick.. rather than looking at bigger trends.. those indicators you saw were my own indicators.. i am familiar with momentum and macd and stochastics.. my indicators are "customized" but incorporate those basic types of indicators as well: momenutm and overbought/oversold oscillators.. best wishes.
