Between robotics and A.I., most all jobs are going to be mcjobs soon enough is the way I see it ... if your airplane designer doesn't want to flip burgers, maybe he or she can work as a Walmart greeter or something instead if they're lucky. There are just not going to be enough 'good' jobs to go around, which is where corporate greed vs. some sort of guaranteed basic income comes in, if we want everyone to live a decent life ... that's where AOC and her green new deal comes in. <g> Or else we let the billionaires euthanize the 90% of the population they aren't going to need ... that's probably be better for the planet, but I doubt the 90% would be much for it.
