Nobody knows the future. Otherwise, you won't be posting here. Nor would anybody else. Everyone thinks and adjusts as the landscape reveals itself. I sent a private message to PS asking him before this latest debacle (when we closed on 2881), whether a black swan event could be upon us. He was sure it wasn't. But he adjusted and said that we could hit below 2600 recently. Da_Cheif hasn't adjusted yet - but I don't see him very sure about upside - I think he is calibrating - probably letting his subs know his thoughts first.

We are in dangerous times. Even though PK and da_cheif butt heads, they are both Trump acolytes. I am not. However Trump may be right in confronting china, he may have miscalculated and not shored up the other issues - which he is trying to do with Canada/Mexico today. But this maybe too late. Maybe getting out of some of Obama coalitions was a mistake if he wanted to pursue an ambitious agenda with the Chinese. Who knows what will happen? He can't afford to look weak and buckle against China. They can't do that either. We could be in for a huge trade war and the psychological effects could be devastating. I know people keep on talking about small effects due to tariffs, but they don't understand psychology. We could be in the beginning of a disaster. A black swan!
