Magneto-resistive technology (Which the new SyQuest 4.7 Gig Quest utilizes) basically allows for greater data densities and faster drive performance. An excellent and easily understandable (even for me) article is linked below:

Iomega does not have, nor has announced any products that utilize this technology.

IOMega just reported EPS of .13› fully diluted.

This is .02› below most estimates. SYQT could get a bump upwards tomorrow from speculation that they are gaining ground against Iomega. I'm thinking of getting in SYQT for a ride Friday, even though SYQT is overvalued at its present level.
