Of the many possible ways to deploy ADSL service one is to develop equipment that can be plugged into a DLC (digital loop carrier). Bell Atlantic did choose CAP modulation linecode ADSL equipment from Westell that plugs into a DSC Communications DLC for its planned ADSL service. All of the bigger players in DSL have multiple alliances and relationships with other equipment manufacturers. Aware was choosen for DSC Communications compatible ADSL equipmnet for those potential customers that prefer the standard DMT ADSL linecode. Andreas
