Gut instinct is telling me that the conference call is going to be ugly. Likely scenario includes an inventory writeoff, no new products, and pissed off analysts and shareholders swinging the whooping stick. S3 Inc. Current Quarter Estimates Dec 97 Current Mean EPS 0.03 Number of Brokers 9 High Estimate 0.05 Low Estimate 0.00 Estimates are still on the positive side, S3 is forecasting negative earnings. I'm not sure if that's been fully priced into the stock, I guess we'll all find out shortly. Mark.

I had to buy something from Micro Center in Santa Clara yesterday, so I had to go there. They are right next door to S3. Come on man. Their parking lot is pretty empty now. I have a feeling that a lot of their good engineers already left the company. I also ran into Vek Parkish, their former Head of Engineering on Sunday at a cheap Mexican joint. We were trying to make it to the Titanics' matinee show (as you know the market has been pretty bad lately, so no $$$), which later on we found out it was sold out, so I did not have the chance to talk with him. I really do regret it. Good luck to all of the stock holders. Let's hope that idiot Gary Johnson is one of the ones which will be laid off. Bucket of scum!!!!! They should put that basterd in jail for a long time. I am loking forward to the 1998 annual meeting. Mike Brad and I have plans for this guy. One of the tactics inculdes a lot of hard boil eggs!!!!
