I think the reason behind all the "shouting" and disagreement on the other threads is the lack of understanding of: TA terminology and trader's point of view.

when i say sell, they assume XYZ will tank.
when i say bearish, they assume xYZ will tank.

it's not there fault, but i find the disagreements are because of these issues..

When i say bearish/sell, that means XYZ will not go up.. it might hang around.. but my feeling is "i would not want my money to be in XYZ when it's not rallying" why? Because you are exposed.. the longer you are in a stock or in the mkt,, the more exposure you are to external factors (ie: Asian flu, bad news for XYZ, etc,etc)

that selling when XYZ is not moving will reduce your risk in case "bad crap" happens..

just my opinoins. it's like ducks talking to turkeys.. one is quacking while the other is gobbling.. they dont understand each other <gg>
