Since this was a beta version she was testing, we'll have to see what the actual shipping performance numbers are. But the article is distressing, especially the part where 1 Gig Jaz media runs 20% s l o w e r in the new drive. This is one performance number, which according to Iomega, is unavoidable. SyQuest has a geniune opportunity to grab the leading edge if Quest is shipped before or right when Jaz2 ships, and at about same price. The new Quest should also grab any market share that was going to Pinnacle and their 4.7 Gig MO drive.

Allen, please give an explanation where you stated "I do think that the testing methodology used by the author of the article was somewhat suspect, but this kind of press is not going to help."

Please give the reasons you believe the test was not conducted fairly.
