Air Methods stock seems to be perking up late this week. The announcement last week was small in dollar amount but very significant is the following excerpt: <<These are the first of several new business opportunities we anticipate receiving in early 1998," said Michael G. Prieto, Vice President of the Products Division.>> I do not have any definite information, but I think the manufacturing side of the business will steal the attention in the next few months. The certification of the Sikorsky interior is due soon and there are several contracts to be done-not the least of which is the Canadian deal-which is under some time pressure. Management had spoken about a business in the NY Metro area that looks promising. I would love to see a dozen announcements to scroll the crashes off the news screen. Haven't heard any news about the PR firm yet. I do not look for earnings until late February but expect some goings-on before then. I would love to see the FA/TA guys post some of their perspectives on this board too. Elliot
