Sounds more like the time my college room mate came home from the bar, fried up some sausage and then complained that it tasted "funny". The thing that was really funny was that the "sausage" he had fried in the pan was a piece of apple pie! Fooocuuus! Ah, what does the day offer us? Good luck. ; )
