Wonder if astrology works? From astroecon.com Friday shapes up to be a bear's delight with plenty to worry about. A Mercury Saturn square and a Moon Pluto conjunction should combine to make for a big down day. If you must pick one day to be short it is FRIDAY. Mercury is the logical mind and Saturn is restriction and worry. The Moon is the base feelings and Pluto is a destructive and intimidating energy. We should be down BIG TIME and close near the lows. This is a day that several hundred Dow points may disappear. If this day is not strongly down I will be very surprised and probably lose a few bucks. Monday 1/26 has a continuation of the very difficult astro from Friday. The day starts off with a Moon Saturn square at 10:00 AM just in time for a bad morning close on the Globex S&Ps to set up a bearish open in regular trading. The Moon will be conjunct Mercury and Venus in Capricorn from 6:09 PM EST till 7:17 PM EST. This is NEWS HOUR in the US which makes me think something important will be on the public's mind. The exact Mercury Venus conjunction will be at 2:47 AM on the 27th. A Moon conjunction to Neptune at 11:22 AM on Tuesday should just about be on the bottom of a very profitable decline for the shorts as far as I can see from a week ahead of time. This is the last of the deflationary Capricorn energy that has been dogging this market and it should end with a flurry of selling. I will be MOOOOING like "Taurus the Bull" about this time and looking for bargain calls.
