Yes, I agree Bob that QCOM probably never should have received the patents that allow them to charge their licensing fees. That said these lawsuits have been going on forever. For every judge who tries to invalidate them there is another who upholds them. This is an oversimplification but because of QCOM's patent position they can essentially charge for any kind of data, or sound, sent over the airwaves until their patents are completely invalidated. I just don't see that happening. RtS
