FYI...from the online WSJ

"Seagate Technology Inc. (SEG) also fell in late trading after announcing quarterly results.

PT Discount trader Ken Zielmanski said the stock traded at 17, down 2 5/16 from its close of 19 5/16, before trading was halted on the stock."

17!!!

This isn't the first time Seagate has done this. Did you note they even have us set up for a similar bathing next quarter. I think this is typical of Shugart and Waite. They want to take all the lumps at once and get on to the healing. Makes sense to me. No need to prolong. Those guys are in for the long haul anyway.

now it can test its B.V. @ $13s.

Not only the SPE # is bad, the continuous over-supply it may be
in the (-) region for a few more Q.

It's not pretty at the time IBM now become more dominant in the leading hard drive tech.
