BTW, he was right about that one. You don't depreciate the real property (the land the improvement sits on) but it doesn't take a tax expert to know that....
OK, but Heywood used that argument in his "proof" that Trump committed tax fraud.

He claimed that Trump could not have claimed $1.17B in depreciation over a ten-year period because he argued that Trump's properties could not be depreciated. Just the improvements.

I'm not getting a clear picture on what constitutes "real property" vs. "improvements," but I suspect Heywood doesn't either.
