Satyr:
The bear fraternity (of which I am a confirmed member) got some help from IBM's mediocre numbers and comments last night. Mother Merrill also assisted when it allowed that Asia might bruise the PC darlings (a brilliant deduction if I ever saw one). Semi prices remain firmly in the tank, and any company connected with hard drives is bleeding from the ears. CPQ's numbers beat the estimate, as did a few others this morning......never mind that they were dragged down all quarter.
Should be an interesting opening. (g)
Best, Earlie
