Mr. Kirlin: As is often the case, Mr. pink was a bit early shorting this one. Jus t be careful. It is a compelling growth story, on the surface but has a very high valuation relative to earning. Quite vulnerable to the invevitable investigation of its agressive accounting and sales practices. Mr. pink ps. congrats on your gains. consider taking a few chips off the table.

I've been gone for a while, but it appears I haven't missed anything in this particular thread. All I can say about this stock is that jeez, I wisht I'd bought more back when is was pre-split @ 29! Wonder what happened today... the most recent news is that the manager of six New England-location (?) franchises gets hired by Sylvan, and the stock goes up 10%? Well, I've doubled my money, so maybe it is time to take some profits, as Mr. Pink suggests.

What were you refering to about poor accounting practices? I just purchased the stock because it recently broke out a base. Also, they have great earnings, they are in a great industry, and are making aquisitions. Your thoughts? djp
