James: I agree with your assessment of the "broken and contrite heart" being a prerequisite for acceptance of the Lord. Concerning Joey and Tammy: I know that the situation you describe can be one of the biggest heart breaks for Christians. I will pray for them. One thing for sure that we know with absolute certainty is that the Lord's will is that none should perish but that all should come to Him. "Dear Lord, I pray now for Joey and Tammy that you would somehow reach them. I pray that you will remove the hardness of their hearts that this father, James, described. I also pray for the children of this marriage, that you will give these children your loving protection and speak to them regularly so they will know you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen." In Christ, Tom
