Buckwheat,

The original question of "How did Intel revenue increase from $20 billion 96 to $25 billion 97 with flat (no incremental) earnings?" does not make any sense. Intel had higher earning in '97 than in '96! Therefore, your answer to that question was a total BS. Sorry to be so frank about it, but you did not get it from my reply, Message 3216081.

John.

Buckwheat - Re: " How did Intel revenue increase from $20 billion 96 to $25 billion 97 with flat (no incremental) earnings? What is your explaination."

The simple explanation is that you don't know what you are talking about.

Intel had EARNINGS of 5.2 Million Dollars in 1996 and had EARNINGS of 6.9 Billion Dollars for 1997.

THAT IS NOT FLAT EARNINGS! It is an increase of 33% over the prior year (1996).

Where in the world did you get the idea that Intel's earnings were FLAT for 1997?

Anyone can get that information right off the net - Intel's web site for example. Why can't you?

Paul
