FIRST: I said "territories" and cited California. Geez, talk about showing you are losing. So, Very simply you have yet to state "the main "ECONOMIC" cause of the Civil War. Also, you have not shown any proof that slavery was "NOT" the main "ECONOMIC" STATES RIGHT of the CSA. You have lost the "debate".

Yes, we were, and no, we weren't. There were southern sympathizers in So Cal, however.

As part of the Compromise of 1850, California was admitted as a free state without a slave state pair
