We led the Internet boom because we had great innovators. Then something happened and innovation slowed to a crawl as China took the lead in 5G.

Were American CEOs blindsided by China's 5G? No, if we go back a few years we can see them talking about how important it was to the future of tech in the US so why didn't they do it? That's the question I don't have the answer to. Blaming China is a cop-out and I hope everyone sees it for what it is.

When this nonsense is over we'll be investing (and making a lot of money) in Chinese tech companies. We can't undo the past but we can make money from it.
