IMO Given current market uncertainty in the semi group. Re- slowing economy - tariffs. I believe the giants in semi corporate world would be interested in consolidation. The group is rather strong today in light of a down market. Just the basic if a competitor makes a acquisition move . The competition won't stand still and do nothing in response.

HI E_K_S,

Cy is the 3rd largest automotive chip maker.

NXP and or Infineon may be the suitor - also big in automotive.

Infineon would have US market plus its european legacy.

Nice move for BGS today on this down day. Saw no news other than GIS downgrade. Maybe group rotation or costs coming down for better-margins in the days ahead for some?
