>>For 2D graphics, I like Number Nine Revolution.<<

With this card I cannot drive a Viewsonic P815 to its maximum resolution of 1800x1400. The Number Nine Imagine 128 or the Millenium II will drive to higher resolutions 1600X1200 and 16M colors.

My experience is that monitors outlive several generations of computers. Perhaps I should not try and fight this trend. The Number Nine Revolution gets good 2D reviews and seems to be a good all around card. You get the added benefit of the virtual resolution of the Nine cards. It would be a good candidate for swapping out at a future date.

2D is the focus of most of my software and 3D seems to be changing and evolving quickly. I think it is too soon to focus on 3D capability and maybe too soon to go for AGP. I'll put the Number Nine Revolution in the next modification of the configuration of SuperG.
