I think the House should proceed with impeachment regardless.

The most likely scenario:
Impeachment passes the House, but the Senate fails to convict him.
The Trumptards go around spewing even more maggots from their mouths than now.
2020 outcome gives Trump his 2nd term.
Come 2024, the absolute majority of Americans are in despair and want to kill themselves for reelecting Donald the Traitor. They make the GOP a minuscule 3rd or 4th party.

The Alternative:
The House Democrats are too short sighted and decide not to impeach mofo Trump on fear of political fallout. They think Bill Clinton.
The political climate that is now continues until the election with no change. (This is where the climate change is really needed).
Donald Trump gets reelected.
Come 2024, the motherfucking Republicans are still in an as jubilant mood as now.
