Wharfie, once again the Washington Post is pushing an opinion as a "fact":
But here’s the thing: Russia did help Trump get elected. And Trump cannot make this fact disappear, even though he has spent more than two years trying.
They keep portraying Russia's efforts as an "attack" on our system that had an effect so substantial, it deserves to dominate the news cycle for the past two years.

But that's a flat-out lie. The only truth in that statement is that Russia did try and influence the election. (Or as Ilhan Omar would put it, "Some people did something.")

But they used 100% legal means to do just that. They posted on social media. They coordinated with certain political groups. They hired social media trolls to post fake news and fake opinions to try and influence public sentiment. Though it might be despicable what they did, it's perfectly legal to do so.

I repeat: All of that was 100% legal in a society where the First Amendment still applies. (And thank God it still does apply, despite every effort by libtards to destroy it.)

So there was no "attack."

As for how much influence they actually had, the Russians spent about 1% of all the political spending in 2016. Of all the political activity on social media, the Russian presence barely registered.

So the effect was insubstantial.

Yet the Washington "Democracy Dies In Darkness" Post continues pushing this LIE over and over again, thinking that repeating the lie makes it the truth.

So next time you act all righteously indignant about Mueller "destroying one of Trump's biggest lies," know that all you're doing is making yourself look like an utter HYPOCRITE.

You just destroyed your big lie commie.

The Mule acknowledged (as did the IG) that not a single vote was changed. Except yours.

When u are foolish enough to support a murderous loon like hilda for potus you shouldn’t be upset when the country chooses the better alternative.

The Republic, as always, thanks you.
